Dublin House - New York, NY; 48"x48", Oil on canvas - SOLD

I lived on the upper westside of Manhattan in the 1970’s and again in the 80’s. Dublin House was always a beacon and is still going strong on West 79th st. After a recent evening trip to the MET (for the Degas and Manet show), I came across town to see Dublin House lit up as usual. Love the sign colors and “under lighting” from the street below. And then there is that strong pattern of apartment building windows! Window angles on all sides crashing in towards the sign made it an exciting composition for me.
