With apologies to Charles DeMuth… but… couldn’t resist this signage detail at the famous 5 O’Clock Club in Sarasota, Florida. Sadly The Five O’Clock Club, a live music venue dating back to 1955 has left us. Performances there included such luminaries as Buddy Miles, the drummer in Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys, The Police’s Andy Summers, AC/DC singer Brian Johnson and Allman Brothers Band guitarist/singer Dickey Betts, and rock star Duane Betts.
